Bow-Tie’s Bulletin – June 22, 2015

Dear Whitey and Friends,

It’s hot, isn’t it? I’ve been out and about town and I can tell you it’s hot.

Bow-Tie in his stroller

My stroller is not air conditioned. Until we get get the a/c installed in it, I’ve had to find other ways to stay cool. I know, I know, you’re thinking I’m already cool. Maybe, but I meant cool in temperature not in dapper-ness.

Bow-Tie's Mom gives him an ice cream cone

My mom thought of a cool treat for your toothless friend.Do you see the size of that ice cream mountain? I’m a very small cat. Her eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach.

BowTie Licks His Ice Cream

But a guy has to do what a guy has to do. So I dove right in and got started. The mistake was I started in the middle which caused it to drip on my nose.

Bow-Tie figures out the best way to lick ice cream

It’s better to start on the top and work your way down. It was a cool treat and hit the spot.

Now before you think I was over indulging, I did not eat very much. Ice cream is not really good for cats (that’s what humans say anyway). So we better not share all of these pictures with the world. I’m glad it’s just between you and me. But I’ll tell you, I sure liked it.

Bow-Tie thinks ice cream is lip smacking good

And I liked it right down to the drips that were still on my lips!

You find a way to stay cool this week, my friend. I’ll do the same though I’m not sure ice cream will be included. I’ll just have to depend on my dapper looks to keep me cool.

See you next week!

Bow-Tie’s Bulletin – June 8, 2015

Dear Whitey and Friends,

Let me just start you out with a test…..

Bow-Tie's Choppers

See those choppers?

And see those other choppers?

What’s the difference???

Bow-Tie doesn't have any teeth

The difference, my friend, is one has teeth and one doesn’t.

One guess which is which.

Bow-Tie's Selfie

I took a selfie to prove my point…………

Took this one hour after I woke up from a three hour induced sleep.

Note the glassy eyes and druggy stare.

They pulled all of my teeth out with the exception of six on the top. What I’m going to do with those, I don’t know. I guess I can gnash some corn on the cob.

When I got home, I was happy but a little unable to control my actions.

Bow-Tie and his favorite toy

I ran over to my favorite toy. But once I got it in my mouth I forgot where I was again. I sat there for a long, long time seemingly engaged in a drug induced fixation.

That passed then the next couple of days were filled with soft food and more drugs.

Bow-Tie says No to Drugs

By day three I “Just Said NO”…….
No more meds for me!

Tomorrow I’ll go back to the doctor and get my medical release. I have had to lay low here a while until I was declared medically sound to hit the road. I’m excited and I’m thankful you have my back, Whitey.

So, here I go……….
Bow-Tie is on the Path

I’m on the path.

I see the light before me.

I’m ready to fill the might paws set before me.

Bow-Tie’s Gift Arrives!

Dear Whitey,

You surprised me! A package arrived yesterday addressed to me so I started to rip it open. If you have ever tried to rip something open with no teeth and a mouth full of stitches you would appreciate how unsuccessful that was. So my mom opened it. And there it was…..
Bow-Tie Wears His New Tie from Whitey Wobbles

…my very special tie from my very special friend!

I love it and I know I’m quite handsome in it. Right? It will be my very special bow tie for special events.
