Broshi before the pawtyDear Everyone,

It’s me, Broshi.

Bow-Tie said I can write to you this week.

I went to a girly party and he doesn’t want to be part of it.

Ha ha ha for Bow-Tie.

This is me before the party.

Broshi going to a pawtyThis is me, all dressed up for the party!

It’s an event to raise money for animals by auctioning off designer purses.

This is my new dress and I feel very beautiful.

Broshi got her own chairWhen I got there, I got my very own chair.

Broshi got a purseBetter yet…

…I got my very own little purse!

Broshi looking cute at the partyMy chair is the perfect place for people to adore me…

…and they did.

Miss Lily was at the party tooMiss Lily was there, too.

She decided to go a bit more formal with her little black dress.

All the partying made Broshi sleepyA big party is a bit tiring for this kitty.

I was happy to curl up on my chair with my blanket and take a nice cat nap.

Thanks for listening to my story of the big day.

Bow-Tie will be back next week!

A portrait of Bow-TieDear Friends,

Look at this…

…a portrait of yours truly!!

Bow-Tie with the Pet GazetteAnd if that wasn’t enough…

…it’s on the front cover of a local pet magazine!

Bow-Tie with the Pet GazetteYep. That’s me…

…and it’s out on newsstands now.

Inside is the story of how Cat Depot saved me from a horrific hoarding environment.

Bow-Tie and CourageI know my readers are all over the country.

Sorry, this is a local magazine so you may not be able to get it, but you can still see the cover.

Courage was sweet and wanted to share in my joy.

She also wore a bow tie to help celebrate the occasion.

Bow-Tie and BroshiBroshi on the other hand just plopped herself down right on my face.

You can dress them up, but you can’t make them behave.

Bow-Tie looks handsome in his bow tieThanks to this wonderful magazine for making me a cover boy.

Thanks again to Cat Depot for making me healthy enough to be me!

Love you all!

Bow-Tie and Annie Sullivan got a presentHappy New Year, Everyone!

This is my first message of the new year.

Hope you are all well and happy.

Annie Sullivan and I just got another Christmas gift!

It’s wrapped in a cozy kitty blanket.

Annie Sullivan opens the packageAnnie Sullivan is really good at opening things, so I’ll leave it to her.

She’s persistent!

Annie Sullivan opened the packageSee what I told you…

…she got it open.

It’s a great new kitty activity box.

It has a feather outside, balls inside, and a scratching surface.

Any kitty’s dream gift!

The girls enjoy the new toyCourage came running when she heard the scratching and the balls rolling around.

Being the gentleman I am, I stepped aside for the girls.

Mixie plays with the featherMixie was quite intrigued with the feather.

The girls enjoy the new toyBroshi was attracted by the sounds.

Mixie was a bit selfish about sharing at first…

The girls enjoy the new toy…but then she helped Broshi find out how to play with the balls inside.

The girls enjoy the new toyI think I’ll just take a nap and let the girls play for a while.

Who can resist such cuteness?

Bow-TieSee you next week!

Bow-Tie’s Bulletin – September 10, 2018

Bow-Tie in the sunMy Dear Friends,

I’ve been checking the weather.

It looks like we’re in the last days of summer.

Here in Florida we get a lot more warm weather, but we’re still in the last summer days.

Bow-Tie in the sunI like to take advantage of the summer weather in a big way… and do it my way.

I’m a Donut Kitty, so did you expect me to have a raft in any other variety!?

A classic Donut Kitty must have the latest model of donut raft.

There’s sprinkles on it to honor my brother, Sprinkle.

Broshi in the sunBroshi, on the other hand, is a girly girl and she has chosen a more fashionable raft.

Isn’t she beautiful, floating around in style?

Broshi in the sunShe knows she’s all that and more.

She may not be able to see, but she knows all eyes are on her.

Bow-Tie in the sunMe?

I’m happy to be in the sunshine…

…and I’m even happier to take a little nap in my donut raft in the sunshine.

See you next week!

Bow-Tie keeping track of the tableMy Dear Friends,

It was a busy weekend for me.

Broshi and I went to a cat show.

My job was to guard the table full of cards and paintings.

I also had to watch over Broshi.

Watching over Broshi was the easy part and it went well.

Watching the table got a little messy as I walked around amid the merchandise.

Everyone wants to hold BroshiLots of people were coming to meet Broshi.

Everyone wanted to hold her.

Broshi impresses the judgeShe did well in the show ring.

The judges said she was very confident and well adjusted for a little blind girl.

Bow-Tie on tableDo you know what I liked best about the whole day?

The hugs!

Bow-Tie getting hugs and loveThis is a very nice lady who follows my blogs, and she came just to meet me.

She gives good hugs.

Bow-Tie and his friend MarionNice miss Marian comes anywhere I am appearing, and loves to give me head rubs.

Everyone wants to see Bow-TieGuess what?

I am much more popular than I thought.

Once one person came to pet me a crowd gathered.

It was amazing.

The miracle of the little Donut Kitty who set out to educate people about special needs.

That’s me!

Who could ask for anything more?

Love you all,

The Dapper Gent

Bow-Tie in his favorite chairDear Friends,

So, this morning I got into my favorite chair on the lanai.

My intent was to spend a relaxing morning in the sunshine.

This is my favorite chair that has years of my hair on it to prove it’s mine.

Broshi wants attentionMine, I said…

…and then came Broshi.

Broshi knows no boundariesBroshi doesn’t know boundaries.

Broshi timeBroshi has no respect for privacy.

Broshi climbs on Bow-TieBroshi knows no limits.

Broshi and Bow-TieMy plans for a relaxing sun bath turned into Broshi time.

Broshi kisses Bow-Ties headI adjusted accordingly and spent the morning with her.

Because time together is more important than any chair, any time.

Bow-Tie with beadsDear Friends,

I’m stuck posing with red and purple beads.

That can only mean one thing.

We are headed to a cat show themed “Red Hat Cats.”

Broshi packing her suitcaseBroshi is all excited.

She packed herself with all her red and purple girly things.

She’s going to go into the show ring and strut her stuff.

Broshi with her paw on the hatBroshi loves girly things.

She likes to “feel” the pretty.

Broshi with beads and boaSo, we’re off to the cat show.

Here’s hoping Broshi lets her special needs kitty light shine brightly for everyone to see.

And here’s hoping people will recognize special needs kitties for all they can be.

Bow-Tie, Broshi, and the bearDear Friends,

It was a busy week with the Giving Challenge.

All of the kitties who were helped by your giving thank you.

Speaking of giving…

…someone gave Broshi this adorable teddy bear.

Broshi falling asleepShe loves it very much.

When I tried to nose it…

…she quickly pulled it away from me and held on tight.

Bow-Tie and BroshiI comforted her by telling her I was not going to take it away from her.

She trusted me and relaxed with her new friend.

Broshi falling asleepBroshi is a kitty who falls asleep whenever she is cuddled…

…and it doesn’t matter if the cuddling is done by a human, another cat, or her little bear.

Broshi with her bearShe was so relaxed she tipped over a bit…

…but she still clung tightly to her new little bear.

So cute.

Giving and loving are good things.

Bow-Tie’s Bulletin – April 23, 2018

Bow-Tie and BroshiDear Friends,

Broshi and I went to a two-day cat show this weekend.

I was supposed to watch her, but I got distracted early in the day.

Bow-Tie says that donut kitties ruleMy distraction?

The booth next to us…

…they sold catnip donuts!

Since I am a “donut kitty,” I was extremely interested in investigating.

Bow-Tie investigating a boothI investigated, and here’s what I found…

…I loved everything!

Bow-Tie shows the perfect donutsThe search was on for the purrfect donut…

…and I picked three of the best ones.

Bow-Tie sniff testing the donutsI sniffed them all, and found the ones that were the most potent.

Trust me, I know donuts and I know catnip.

These are the best.

Bow-Tie shopping for catnip donutsMy purchase was secured by none other than the owner and creator of these lovely donuts.

She was a lovely lady and very happy to help me with my purchase.

Bow-Tie is contentHow did Broshi do in the show?

Very well.

But I was more interested in my newly purchased donuts than the show.

(Sorry, Broshi.)

Donut Kitties rule, and now I have new donuts for my collection.

Bow-Tie’s Bulletin – April 2, 2018

Bow-Tie and BroshiDear Friends,

Look at Broshi, all dressed up this Easter weekend.

She likes all this pink and frilly stuff.

I’m not sure I get it, but she’s all into it.

Bow-Tie and Broshi super cuteShe tries to woo me into getting interested in her frilly things.

She’s so cute I can hardly resist, yet I find it difficult to show enthusiasm for pink frills.

I’m a manly cat.

Bow-Tie and BroshiHer soft, meowing please finally get to me.

I don’t really share her interest in pink frills, but I can help her.

I can give her someone who will love all her frilly things, and spend time with her.

Broshi with her bearAs soon as I put Mr. Teddy the Bear next to her, she was immediately attracted to him.

She gave him a sweet little kiss – and I think he kissed her back.

Broshi looking adorable with Mr. Teddy BearBroshi settled right in with Mr. Teddy the Bear.

She sensed his love of colorful things and she liked him very much.

Broshi with her bearLittle Broshi found a colorful friend to share her love of frills…

…and they look happy together.

Bow-Tie and Broshi super cuteHappy Easter, everyone!

Love from Broshi and from me, Bow-Tie.

We love you all!
