Bow-Tie with beadsDear Friends,

I’m stuck posing with red and purple beads.

That can only mean one thing.

We are headed to a cat show themed “Red Hat Cats.”

Broshi packing her suitcaseBroshi is all excited.

She packed herself with all her red and purple girly things.

She’s going to go into the show ring and strut her stuff.

Broshi with her paw on the hatBroshi loves girly things.

She likes to “feel” the pretty.

Broshi with beads and boaSo, we’re off to the cat show.

Here’s hoping Broshi lets her special needs kitty light shine brightly for everyone to see.

And here’s hoping people will recognize special needs kitties for all they can be.

Bow-Tie, Broshi, and the bearDear Friends,

It was a busy week with the Giving Challenge.

All of the kitties who were helped by your giving thank you.

Speaking of giving…

…someone gave Broshi this adorable teddy bear.

Broshi falling asleepShe loves it very much.

When I tried to nose it…

…she quickly pulled it away from me and held on tight.

Bow-Tie and BroshiI comforted her by telling her I was not going to take it away from her.

She trusted me and relaxed with her new friend.

Broshi falling asleepBroshi is a kitty who falls asleep whenever she is cuddled…

…and it doesn’t matter if the cuddling is done by a human, another cat, or her little bear.

Broshi with her bearShe was so relaxed she tipped over a bit…

…but she still clung tightly to her new little bear.

So cute.

Giving and loving are good things.

Bow-TIe with money bow tieMy Dear Friends,

I am wearing my money bow tie.

That means I have important business to talk about, and an important job to do.

I only don this bow tie once a year and that’s when I’m serious about making a financial decision for cats.

The Giving Challenge is upon us.

That means the Patterson Foundation will provide a 1:1 match for all unique donations up to $100 per donor.

It also means Cat Depot will benefit in so many other ways by matching funds from any donation.

Kitten in handsThe theme this year is, “Be the One to Rock Their World.”

Isn’t this the cutest picture ever…

…a kitten snuggled in the loving hands of Cat Depot.

Without Cat Depot, cats like her would perish.

It makes me sad to say that and it makes me sad even to think about it.

You can “Be the One to Rock Their World!”

The Giving Challenge challenges you to give and have your donation doubled.

Giving Challenge banner

IBow-Tie found a rockf you call Cat Depot May 1-2, Noon to Noon, you can make a huge difference.

If you plan to donate to Cat Depot at any time within the year, please make this the time.

Having your donation matched is a no-brainer!

I picked up a rock that says “Love.”

Bow-Tie found rocksPlease show your love for my kitty friends by donating during this important time.

I don’t often ask for money, but I’m doing it now.

Caring and love is what kitties need.

Please help us help them by donating during this very important time.

Be the One to Save a Life

Thank you, Friends.

I love you all,

Bow-Tie says that donut kitties ruleMy distraction?

The booth next to us…

…they sold catnip donuts!

Since I am a “donut kitty,” I was extremely interested in investigating.

Bow-Tie investigating a boothI investigated, and here’s what I found…

…I loved everything!

Trust me, I know donuts and I know catnip.

These are the best.

Bow-Tie shopping for catnip donutsMy purchase was secured by none other than the owner and creator of these lovely donuts.

She was a lovely lady and very happy to help me with my purchase.

Bow-Tie is contentHow did Broshi do in the show?

Very well.

But I was more interested in my newly purchased donuts than the show.

(Sorry, Broshi.)

Bow-Tie and BroshiDear Friends,

Look at Broshi, all dressed up this Easter weekend.

She likes all this pink and frilly stuff.

I’m not sure I get it, but she’s all into it.

Bow-Tie and Broshi super cuteShe tries to woo me into getting interested in her frilly things.

She’s so cute I can hardly resist, yet I find it difficult to show enthusiasm for pink frills.

I’m a manly cat.

Bow-Tie and BroshiHer soft, meowing please finally get to me.

I don’t really share her interest in pink frills, but I can help her.

I can give her someone who will love all her frilly things, and spend time with her.

Broshi with her bearAs soon as I put Mr. Teddy the Bear next to her, she was immediately attracted to him.

She gave him a sweet little kiss – and I think he kissed her back.

Bow-Tie dislikes the cold daysDear Friends,

What’s going on here?

The calendar says spring has sprung, but there’s a cold front in most places.

Even here in Florida the chill is in the air.

Broshi and I have taken to sleeping most of the day away just to stay warm.

Bow-Tie just thought of somethingSleeping all the time doesn’t leave much time for anything else and it often gets boring.

But it’s tough to get out of this warm bed.

And then…

…I had a great idea!

Bow-Tie enjoys optionsWhy not bring some snacks into bed with us?

When snacks are called for, they must bear the Bow-Tie seal of approval.

Ahhh… Bow-Tie snack crackers, now we’re talking.

And they come in flavors!

Bow-Tie enjoys the day with Broshi and snacksWho wouldn’t love Bow-Tie snack crackers?

Everybody will love them!

Bow-Tie shows the breakfast of championsSo, next time it’s cold out and you take to your bed to stay warm, get some Bow-Tie snack crackers.

It’s the true Breakfast of Champions!

Bow-Tie winks and Broshi licks her lipsMoral of this story?

When the snacks are gone and Broshi is licking her lips in approval, it’s a good day in Bow-Tieville!

See you next week.

Bow-Tie and BroshiThe answer is simple… of course she can.

She’s a little sweetie.

Bow-Tie’s Bulletin – March 12, 2018

Bow-Tie says, "It's that time again..."Dear Friends,

What time is it?

Time to change the clocks again.

Raise your paw if you're confused about the changesIf you’re confused about changing the time, raise your hand.

Me too!

Raise your paw if you want to sleep inJust when we get used to the time being changed one way…

…we have to change it back the other way.

Bow-Tie is ready to change his clockThere’s nothing we can do to change the changing.

If we don’t do it, we’ll be showing up either early or late for the next six months.

So let’s all just line our clocks up and spring ahead one hour. Than means we’ll have one more hour of darkness in the morning, but more sunlight in the evening.

We have to stay that way until the first Sunday in November.

Let's just do itLet’s all just do it…

…spring ahead one hour.

Bow-Tie says time changes are yuckyWait!

One less hour sleep?

Oh, I don’t like that.

Take that, spring ahead Daylight Saving Time!

Bow-Tie poses with his clockWho invented this system anyway?

Have a happy week, even though it will be one hour shorter.

Love you all,
