Dear Everyone,
I’m feeling better now.
Still on my medicine, but I’m feeling great.
So it’s back to work for me.
I’m shouting out loud about my newest project.
This one is close to my heart.
Meet Loverboy…
…he is a special needs friend of mine.
He is 8 years old.
He has severe stomatitis and decreased kidney function.
Decreased kidney function is pretty common, and can be controlled.
The stomatitis is something I can relate to, because it involves teeth and gums.
I had it myself.
The cure? Get those teeth out of there and get to fixing the inflammation.
Cat Depot pulled all his teeth and he is much, much better now.
Once the choppers come out, the pain goes with it.
Eating soft food is easy to do.
Hard food has to go down whole, so we need a lot of water.
I eat hard and soft and never have a problem.
Loverboy will eat just fine, and his mouth won’t ever hurt him again.
Loverboy is a complete lap cat.
He loves humans and loves attention.
I’m on a campaign to get Loverboy into a loving home right away.
He’s at Cat Depot, and he is ready to go home.
Special needs cats sometimes take a little extra financial support.
Most of the work has already been done and paid for on Loverboy. But he does need medicine and regular check-ups with the doctor.
I’m prepared to chip in for his adoption.
(I have inside information that Cat Depot may be working on something special, too.)
Don’t let a little money stand in the way of love.
And don’t let a toothless kitty scare you.
We can lick you just as good without teeth! Hee hee
So, put this picture in your mind…
…that’s Loverboy watching out the window.
He’s watching and waiting for that car to pull into Cat Depot to take him home.
Please give him a chance.
Special needs cats rule!
See you next week.
Bow-Tie,
The Dapper Gent
