Hi Everyone,
A caretaker’s work is never done.
I’m proof of that, because this weekend I was really caretaking.
My workload is already pretty full with the girls in the house.
But this weekend I did double-duty.
My old friend Topo spent the weekend with me.
He’s special needs, so he’s close to my heart.
We both have bad ears and aren’t too proud to show them off.
This time Topo brought his sister, Giada.
I hadn’t met her before…
…but we became instant friends.
The girls can’t resist me, hee hee hee.
She was new here, so I had to tell her the rules.
Rules are simple, just follow my lead.
She quickly fell in line…
…and followed the Bow-Tie lead.
Then something really funny happened.
She met little Annie Sullivan.
Annie Sullivan was really interested in her and followed her everywhere.
Giada kept trying to walk away, and Annie Sullivan was on her tail… literally.
Giada was afraid of her.
I laughed my kitty head off over that one!
Topo and Giada are Italian Greyhounds.
For short, their mom calls them “The IGs.”
When the IGs arrived, they brought their own house with them.
Does that make their house an IG-loo?
Hee hee hee
They had food in there too.
I tried some, but it wasn’t as good as my own.
Don’t dogs like fish?
We had a good time this weekend.
I like everyone, and the IGs are two of my favorite canines.
As with all good things, our time had to end.
I made sure Topo was all tucked in for the night.
Oh, you know what else happened?
Giada finally understood why Annie Sullivan was following her.
She just wanted to give her a kitty kiss.
It was a good weekend and there was a lot of love over here.
Just the way I like it.
See you next week!
Bow-Tie,
The Dapper Gent
