If you know anything about me, you know I am a lover.
I am a caretaker. I am a giver. I am a nurturer.
I love special needs kitties and love to care for them.
This is my beloved Helen keller.
When I lost her, I lost a piece of my heart.
Courage and Blueberry are pretty independent and don’t need me.
I was sad.
…this little girl popped into the picture!
This is Annie Sullivan, named after Helen Keller’s beloved teacher.
Annie Sullivan is blind, but that doesn’t stop her.
She loves to play.
I am sharing all of my toys with her.
I even bring them to her if she can’t find them.
She is very active.
Too active maybe, but she’s young.
Sometimes I have to hold her down to give her a bath.
Then just when I think she will never stop playing…
…she falls asleep in the middle of a game.
Finally I can get a little cat nap.
I am helping her explore the world.
She likes to go outside in the sun.
She likes to go for rides.
I use any opportunity to give her some lovin’.
She follows me everywhere.
She takes every opportunity to give me a hug.
And to say, “Thank you for helping me through life.”
Finally I have someone new to care for.
And her name is Annie Sullivan.
Love has come full circle. (Pun intended.)
See you next week.
